Greetings from Wien...

Also known as Vienna. Matt is having fun seeing the word "wiener" everywhere and giggling like an idiot. The weather here is the pits, raining and windy as all get out, which makes the sightseeing really not fun and very cold. Mr. Bingham loves Vienna, despite the weather, and sees musical history around every corner with all the concert halls and statues of famous composers. However, seeing everyone and their dog dressed up as Mozart on street corners selling tickets for concerts gets old pretty quickly. Mozart is definitely flogged in Vienna to a ridiculous degree--we hate to see what it is like when we get to Salzburg, which is his birthplace.

Tonight we are going to see Maria Joao Pires, a pianist whom Matt has listened to a great deal, who is playing at the Konzerthaus downtown. We are excited to see a concert like this here in the City of Music, especially since Pires is a world-renowned pianist!

Other than that, we are healthy, happy, and safe and obviously enjoying ourselves very much, other than European keyboards, which are a pain in the arse (why switch the y and the z??). We love you all and think of you often as we travel. Cheers...
