February update

We are sorry that it has been so long since we have updated our blog, but we have been very busy in the New Year and that shows no signs of abating over the next little while. I (Matt) have started my second semester and so far, it has been extremely busy and, to be truthful, not particulary enjoyable. One of my classes has a prof that cannot teach and so I find that I am having to teach myself about the complications of government information (and believe me, it's complicated!) and complete a nasty, huge assignment that consumes all my time and thoughts. Some of my other classes are really cool, including one called Publishing, Media, and Librarianship, which is my favourite.

Caitlin started her new job at TD Canada Trust yesterday and she is unsure what she thinks of it yet. We went to see the Tragically Hip last night at the John Labatt Centre and we had a great time with our friends Michael and Eleanor (the show ROCKED as well).

I celebrated my 28th birthday on Saturday and we had a great time watching my friend Johnny on the drums again with DB Clifford--it was fortuitous that they were playing here on my birthday. They played a cover of the Beatles' "Come Together" at my request (announcing to the audience that it was my birthday). It was great to spend some time with Johnny, as well as some of my friends from church and school.

Though at time stressful, life is good and we are enjoying being married, having our own home, following the Leafs, being involved in our church, and spending time with some of the great friends we have made here. Hopefully, we will be heading to The Centre of the Universe (Toronto) within the next couple weeks to visit friends and go to the Hockey Hall of Fame (yeah baby!).

We have no idea what the future holds after I have finished my degree--we are preliminarily making plans about what to do/where to go. When we have decided, we will make sure to inform all of you. The one thing we do know is that it's going to be an adventure!!
