our first post

Without actually telling Caitlin, my fiancee, I have started this blog to inform all our family and friends about how our lives are going. I believe that this will come in especially handy when we move away for my Masters (which is looking more and more like it will be at Dalhousie University in Halifax). I will be telling Caitlin about this so that she too can post on it.
